We are a small family company based in the town of Troy, found in central North Carolina. The Uwharrie National Forest, one of the world's oldest mountain ranges, is our home. Our dream was to create a business that encompasses the outdoor activities that so many enjoy in our backyard. As a result, Uwharrie Provision Co. was born. It is our goal to provide quality products at an affordable price that are both useful and fun. We believe that every design should tell a story, just like all good adventures, and just maybe someone will ask the question, where is UWHARRIE? What a great story to tell of the place we call home!
As much as we love to call the Uwharries home, there was still a desire to not let go of my original home. Growing up in SC, and my grandparents as farmers, I felt that as a society, we were losing touch with where we came from. I felt too many places and or items of a time gone by were being forgotten. With that in mind, Field+Hound was created to get back to our roots and to also create images and designs that take you back to those times that are slowly disappearing.
We hope that you will smile, while you peruse of products and that they remind you of the away places you enjoy the most! So, please feel free to look around the UPC website and don't forget to keep checking back with us for more news and updated products. We look forward to seeing you soon!
